As a part of a larger road project in Oak Point the DCYC entrance turn around is being paved.

The City will begin work on the project this Monday January 11, 2021.

The work will consist of two parts or phases to be able to maintain access to the club for all members.

The North side, in front of the caretaker’s residence and gate area will be paved first.

Access to the club will be through the wrought iron fence (The area damaged by a vehicle last year) when the north paved area is complete and able to be used.

The South side of the turn around will be paved and our access will once again be through the main gate. The fence repair will then be completed.

The contractor insured DCYC that the project work should be complete by the end of March. The work may be completed earlier if the next few weeks of winter weather are mild.

There is no plan for any work on weekends.

Please be aware of the construction near the club and drive carefully as you enter the construction area.

We will provide updates as the contractors update us.
